Tribute Rage / October 2018

Oxford based Travis tribute band The Men Who Aren't Travis have found themselves in the middle of a Britpop war with a local rival tribute act calling themselves The Men Who Aren't The Men Who Aren't Travis, and to top it off The Men Who Aren't The Men Who Aren't Travis aren't even a Travis tribute act, but play songs by Embrace!

Named after after the 1999 classic Travis album 'The Man Who', The Men Who Aren't Travis claim that if The Men Who Aren't The Men Who Aren't Travis don't change their name they will be forced to take legal action. But The Men Who Aren't The Men Who Aren't Travis lead singer Barry Oldstein has hit out at The Men Who Aren't Travis branding them "sad" and "sick" and claims "his band never even had Travis in mind" when they came up with their band name. Oldstein went on to say that he "doesn't even like Travis anyway."

The real Travis weren't available for comment.
